I am new, currently doing WW

Hi, I am currently paying for WW membership until Feb 19 then I am going to cancel sick of being in the minus all the time with points. I have been comparing WW and MyFitnessPal the last couple of days. I am within the calories. So confusing! I had such a awful headache with nausea yesterday, not sure if it is to do with dieting. Any help would be greatly appreciated x

I did WW a couple of years, ago and found that it just wasn't a good fit for me. MFP is really not a "prescriptive" diet like WW, but a way to track your health program (food and fitness) and a community of support. This means that you need to create your own program. My experience was that the first month or so was really a learning process ... figuring out what and when to eat to stay within my allotted calories without becoming overly hungry, tired ,etc. I also experimented with exercise, gradually increasing over time. I have lost 57 pounds to date, most in the last 5 months after I worked the kinks out (lost and regained the same 20 pounds fof the first few months). So ... be patient with the first couple of months whIle you are learning what works for YOU.

Support ... i strongly suggest you get involved in a challenge or two that will help you be accountable. My two favorites ... the Ultimate Accountability Challenge. This one focuses on process not on losing a specific number of pounds. It will help you to build the habits necessary to succeed. The other one is Fat to Fit. It is structured into small team where teams (not individuals) "compete" for weight loss each week. Since everyone has "good" and "bad" weeks, the weekly reporting of gains/losses keeps you accountable while helping you celebrate your victories and refocus after the slips.

Good luck to you in this journey. Give yourself permission to learn how to succeed and find a supportive community.
