To get new results, you have to try new methods. So here I am! I've never posted on a fitness forum before, and I'm rather nervous. Honestly I just want to make going to the gym and taking up active hobbies a routine for me because I feel it fits well with my personality. However, I was never taught or encouraged to be active when I was younger, so it's definitely a learning experience for me.
I've started logging my meals, and counting calories truly helps me keep from munching. The next step is to understand gym workouts and how to put together an effective, satisfying workout routine that I can slot into a student's lifestyle. Any tips are appreciated, thanks so much!

Hi, I am so happy to hear that you are willing to try new things. I'd be more than happy to help you out with this! I love doing outdoor activities, mostly hiking, I love nature. First and for most, corny but true... You should find the beauty in the things you want to start doing. Find something that you truly enjoy... like for example... if you don't like running maybe start on a stationary bike or walking around the park/neighborhood or stairs, jumping Jack's, jump rope... try them all and see what works best. Same goes to working out at the gym, start with body weight exercises (it is the best lol), then dumbbells, stationary machines, and mix it up. I can help you with routines.
