Handstand Question

I’m just starting. I’m doing a wall handstand for 10 seconds at a time.
Is it normal for my wrists to hurt? Is there a way to strengthen them?

Wrists were not meant for bearing body weight. So yeah, your wrists may not like it. Why are you doing handstands? For what purpose? Do you lift weights? And if you do, for how long?
This link has some thoughtful info.

Thank you! That’s exactly the kind of information I’m looking for.
I’ve been working on calisthenics training for a while. This is the next step. I will spend more time warming up, pay more attention to form and take it slow. Thanks again.2
