*Premium* MyFitnessPal users not showing FitBit's calorie adjustment: REASON/SOLUTION FOUND

So after spending HOURS on this issue, I just now figured out how to get the negative calories to show. Absolutely NOWHERE in MyFitnessPal's information I have scoured and gotten from them does this information appear.

If you have a Premium MyFitnessPal account, there is an option to turn OFF adding your exercise calories to your calorie goal. Mine was turned off, and has been off for the entire time I've had a premium account.

If you have turned this off, your "Calories Remaining" box will look like this:

[goal calories] - [food] + [0] (exercise calories) = [calories remaining]

It will stay like this, even if you have "Enable Negative Calories" enabled in your account.

To fully activate the negative calorie feature, you must go into your premium account settings and enable the feature for "Exercise Calorie Settings" to "Increase my daily calorie goal".

While it's confusing that it says "increase", this MUST be on, as you are now ADDING a NEGATIVE, just like in school when you were having to figure out 14 + (-25) = -11.

If it still doesn't work, you may need to unlink your account, wait at least 15 minutes, and relink your accounts.

It took me a week to figure this out. Hopefully this will help you, too!
