Hi, I am here to lower my blood pressure, take weight off my knees for better health and hiking.

    Well you have taken a step in the right direction. There is a lot of useful information on this site. Put your stats into MFP to lose a reasonable amount per week then weigh and measure everything you eat. Log it all and eat back about half your exercise calories.

    Be patient weight loss is not a fast process but it will happen. I am also losing to mitigate joint pain. 32lbs down this year another 30 to go.
