Blood donation

Found one downside to weight loss, I am not allowed to donate blood, I believe you have to be over 7stone 12lbs/110lbs. Seems a shame cause I feel healthier than before. Should donation not come down to health rather than weight.

    I suppose for a kitten, 7 stone is quite a lot. Is there much need for blood donation in the feline community?
