Should I be supplementing with protein powder?

Hi friends,
I'm finding that while I'm at home, I have trouble getting in enough protein. I feel like I'm hungry often. You can take a look at my diary if it would help. I've started a new workout regimen, doing C25K and the big 4 weight lifting three times a week. I don't have a lot of flexibility with food options because my Mom cooks and I live at home, and I have a meal plan at university. I'd be looking at something I can get at Wegmans or Weiss that's relatively inexpensive, to mix into coffee or yogurt shakes. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

Personally, I'd rather eat a protein bar or have some greek yogurt as a snack. But sometimes I'll make a smoothie with some protein powder, or mix it with oatmeal or something (which reminds me I'm running low on mine). It usually comes in big containers though so it's not really convenient.0

Well, I mostly just eat real food ....... but sometimes after exercising I make a shake from skim milk & chocolate whey protein (BlueBonnet)
It tastes ok, but is a bit pricey ......0 -

I do eat real food, but I'm not getting enough protein, and I don't have a lot of flexibility in changing my meals right now.
The Blue Bonnet has good reviews on Amazon, but it is more than a dollar per serving. If I decide to get a supplement I'll take it into consideration. Thank you for the suggestion!0 -
Im a vegetarian and runner so getting enough protein can be tough sometimes. I use Protein directly after running mainly to avoid leg stiffening but its also helpful to get in the protein without a lot of calories. Right now Im doing the Six Star Elite cookies and Cream, its probably the best taste wise and has 30grams of protein in 1 scoop for 170 calories. You would be hard pressed for find another protein with that low of a calorie to protein ratio.
Its probably one of the cheapest you can get it at walmart in Canada its $25 for a tub.0 -

I have a scoop of Designer Whey Protein (usually chocolate) in skim milk with breakfast.
100 Calories plus the milk.0 -
eat more chicken, eat more meat, eat more turkey, eat some nuts0
