I drifted away from vaping 2 years ago, after switching in 2012. The nicotine delivery just wasn’t enough to maintain the habit, so I just found myself using it less and less.

More recently, the wife was diagnosed with mild/early COPD, so she’s finally swapped the smokes for vape. I’ve had a couple of tanks of her juice and come to the conclusion that I can take it or leave it.

Just reduce your nic progressively. Nicotine without smoke is far less addictive than many think, so it’s not as difficult as giving up smoking.

Thanks for advice, I find I vape more than I smoked, it's something I do without much thought, there was a ritual to smoking real cigarettes like after a meal or on a work break etc, with this I tend to just have it in my hand most of the time. Must break the habit.

18mg, I usually get through a small bottle per week, not as much as some people I know as my actual e-cigg is a pretty basic one, not one of those you can adjust the strength of vape. I'm glad to hear your wife has swapped from cigarettes to vaping though, it's definitely a step in the right direction, I wish her luck with that. I guess it's just a case of being strong enough to give up another bad habit. I Will do my best

That’s probably still less nic to the blood than a 20 a day smoker, but a VW device would probably help reduce your overall consumption at bit. 18mg/ml would give me a headrush in minutes, these days (using a sub-Ohm VV/VW/TC device).

I shall take strength from you comment about not finding it as difficult to give up as smoking. ☺
