Does anyone know what brand/model to purchase in regards to lifting weights?

Nah... I just use a notebook. I don't track lifting calories.3

I have used my Samsung watch in the past but don't anymore. It tracked heart rate but told me I burned calories as if I was performing cardio. Most are not accurate, even the polar HR monitors. I currently use jefit to plan and track my workouts for weight lifted etc. But overall don't find that counting the calories burned lifting weights as different day to day (overall weekly calorie burn vs. daily is better to aim for if your doing a body part split or upper lower split)1

I had a Garmin Vivoactive, but found it useless for lifting. When it died, I just logged MFP cardio calories for (duh) cardio and logged no calories for lifting. I’m 8lbs lighter and I’m stronger than I was during the year and a half I had the tracker after about 6 mo of no tracker.1
