What effects can one week of healthy eating and no exercise have on weight loss?

Ok so the problem is when it’s time of that month I cannot exercise. I dnt feel comfortable doing it. I just dnt like it. Not because of the cramps but because I dnt like the feeling of it (if u get wat I mean)
At the moment I’m on a weight loss journey. So when that time comes, I’m planning to take 4-5 days off meaning no exercise but I’ll still be eating In a defecit. So my question is will I still lose weight?

If you're eating at a deficit - yes. It's entirely possible to lose weight without ever working out (though exercise is obviously still good)6

Thank god! Was just making sure. Thank u!!!!1 -
You’ll lose weight as long as you’re eating in a deficit. But...keep in mind that during your period, you may retain water (bloating) which can temporarily make the number on the scale go up (because water has weight). That will go away when the bloat is gone.
So don’t panic if you step on the scale on the second day of no exercise and all of a sudden you’ve “gained” 2 pounds. It’s just temporary water.11 -

I wanted to lose one last pound before New Year, been really good, but it's that time of the month so I am showing 4lbs heavier despite eating a deficit and exercising!3

Eat a few less calories to offset lower calorie expenditure. Be prepared for the scale to go up during TOM due to water retention, but it will even out a few days later.4
