It's like success

Well I've now finished a Couch to 5K programme, using the NHS podcasts, a nine week programme.

I've just noticed that I've had the podcast player running at 1.2 speed, so all of my times have been out. So tonight I slowed the final week down to normal to see how I got on. Notwithstanding the slight increase in time I finished the run pretty comfortably. As a result of working faster I've trained up pretty well anyway, so I completed my 5Km inside the 30 minutes, with another 2Km warm up and cool down walking.

So all round a decent result, just some consolidation training for a couple of weeks then start on increasing my endurance and some interval sessions to improve my time.

Congratulations! It's kind of funny that your podcast mistake tricked you into training a bit faster, but it seems to have worked out nicely. I wish you continued success with your training.
