Are you here for weight loss? Weight loss happens due to a calorie deficit, exercise is not required although it is very good for your health.0

Hi I can't exercise much but I try to get out and walk for a bit. I rely on calorie deficit to lose the weight. It is hard during the winter I think I am part bear (Want to eat all the food and sleep a lot) but I tell myself if I can lose weight during the winter I will be ready for the summer.
I want to emerge from my woolly jumpers and leggings in the summer like a fat caterpillar emerging from it's chrysalis as a beautiful butterfly.
Here is a picture I took in my garden last summer. Keep going, we got this.

I workout at home. So the cold doesn’t really impact my motivation to workout since I don’t even have to leave the house. I also find it helpful to set specific goals. So far I have two fitness goals for this year:
1. 30 workouts in 30 days for January
2. Train for the half-marathon I registered for
I’m also pretty vocal about those goals on social media. Which works as a motivator for me because I know that others will notice if I totally fall off the wagon, it’s a kind of accountability. Plus, I like all the support I get when I post about my workouts.
Weight loss is really all about the diet though. So even if your workouts aren’t as frequent or consistent in the cold months you can still lose weight if you have your diet under control.0 -
