Anyone else struggling to keep into an eating routine during this period?

I’ve done really well the past year in getting over two stone off and am trying to get maybe another 1 -1.5 off. But this festive season, even letting go a bit has led me to feel bloated and crappy. Want to get my mindset back to where it was two weeks ago!

Anyone got tips to help me psychologically?

The metric of success is not the weight you've lost. It really isn't. The metric of success is your self control, whether expressed as choosing not to eat the delightful things or choosing to earn the calories to do so by exercise and other forms of movement.

Yes that’s true. Today has been my day 1 and I have managed pretty well to exercise self control. When I think back to other times throughout last year that I kind of went off a wee bit, I was actually able to jump back on with little anxiety.

From Thanksgiving through the New Year I really just enjoy myself...I don't go off the rails or anything, but I'm just not super strict about my nutrition or exercise. It is my favorite time of year and I take that time to really enjoy spending time with my family and friends and just enjoy the season. I only put on 2 Lbs this season, so no biggie. Come January I always just get back to it with my nutrition and exercise. Having been at this good livin' thing going on 6.5 years, the holiday season is a nice break where I'm a little more relaxed...but like I said, I don't go off the rails...I'm just a bit more relaxed with things.
