Okay, so I know there are a trillion topics like this and I apologize for adding to them, but I just re-started using MFP again about a month ago, (31 days, to be precise), after an eight month hiatus that started when I was fired from my last job in November last year. I got a new job in December and spent the following 7 months trying to figure out how to fit going to to gym into my new work schedule since it consisted of 8-10 hour days spent mostly on my feet and I was not keen on the idea of going to the gym after spending so much time on my feet. I don't know why it took me 7 months to figure out to just go to the gym on my days off, except for the fact that I had started eating poorly during my hiatus from MFP and spent my days off being utterly exhausted and completely drained of energy.
On July 13th this year, I just suddenly decided to go back to my healthy eating habits and getting my butt to the gym and my energy level has done a complete 180 and I have yet to miss going to the gym on my days off so far.
During my 8 month hiatus, I managed to put back on 16 of the nearly 32 pounds I lost the first time around, which was initially discouraging until I realized that I only put back on 16 pounds and not all 32 and then some, which is pretty much how it's been my entire life when I give up on a lifestyle change and exercising. Since I was still about 14 pounds done from my starting, (and consequently, highest), weight, I decided all hope was not lost. And here I am, a month later, down 12.8 pounds from my second starting weight, and a total of 27.1 pounds down from my initial weight.
Anyhow, the real purpose of this post is to gain more friends who are pretty active when it comes to commenting on statuses on my newsfeed and who are motivational and really enthusiastic towards making lifestyle changes and becoming increasingly healthy. I love the friends I have now and I love reading their updates and progress, but they don't interact with me much and that's what I'm looking for!
Bonus points for anyone who, like me, fell off thee wagon only to eventually hop back on and are much more serious and motivated the second time around!

Welcome back to your new lifestyle. You are no alone with the falling off and getting back on things. The important part is that you are here now.
I joined MFP in January and lost 29 lbs. It has been my saving grace. Im pretty active and try to check in several times a day but it is not always possible. Occasionally I have to miss a day due to work but I always come back.
I will send a friend requst0 -
This is my second mfp account. I deleted my 1st after getting fed up with my ED. I just wanted a fresh start with a select few positive friends. If you want you may send me a request. I try to interact in a personalized manner. Definitely on a daily basis.0

I have been turning over a new leaf and staying active and healthy. I would love any inspiring, active, and friend fitnesspals.
You can do it!
Also, this is my second MFP account! I fell off the wagon three times now, but I'm hell bent on getting healthier! :flowerforyou:0 -
I lost 33 pounds between April and October, 2012, then fell off the wagon when my daughter was in the hospital. (She was only in for a few days, but it took me months to get going again>) Between October and May, 2013, I gained 35 pounds! Yes, all I had lost plus two more! I started again in June and am doing well, down 18.5 pounds so far. Feel free to add me.0
