little inches lost.

Ok, so i am not sure how normal this is. overall i have lost about two inches from my middle. and a even less than that on my other areas. i feel like loosing almost thirty pounds should give me a little more wiggle room in my jeans, but they fit me almost the same. why is that? i makes me so frustrated.

I know what you mean. I've lost 22 pounds. I fit more comfortably into my existing clothes, but haven't gone down a size yet. But I did avoid having to go UP to that next size. I've officially lost one inch from my waist, one inch from my belly, and one inch from each thigh. I also can visibly see that I've lost chubbiness from my arms, neck, and face (none of which I measured in the beginning, lol).

Maybe your weight is coming off from places that you aren't looking for it?

i feel like maybe my fat looks less "full?" (i don't know how to describe it) it just *gah*
  • i'm having the same problem!! the top half of my body I have lost like no inches, but my thighs and butt have lost some. I used to fit in a 20 size jeans, but my thighs can fit in an 18 but it won't button.
  • I'm having the opposite (but for me, equally frustrating) problem. I've only lost 9 lbs and yet my clothes are much looser and to me it looks and feels like I've lost more. It is frustrating because I really do want the scale to reflect what I feel in my looser clothing. I'm female, 5.8 and I reckon 9 lbs shouldn't show up that much (not that I'm complaining) - and if it does, please can it match the scale?

I think I'm having the same problem. Measurements haven't moved, scale actually says I've gained weight....but yet someone told me I look like I've lost weight. It's SOOOOOOOOOO frustrating!

For one thing, you may have been wearing your clothes a lot tighter than you thought?

Generally, every 10-15 lbs of weight loss equals only 1 inch off your waist (abdominal circumference). Be patient and keep up the good work!
