I'm planning to meet my MFP crush in January. She's so awesome. I barely knew her when I signed up. She seemed so aloof and distant like she'd never have time for me. I felt awkward even thinking about her much less talking to her. She seemed so above me. I thought someone like her would never have an interest in me.

Then I started reaching little goals and sharing them and she seemed more and more interested and started showing up more and more, and now I'm more inspired. I have started a very real conversation with her although it's still private and only online. It gets more real everyday and in January we have plans to get together and take some fun pictures doing fun things in cute clothes. She loves me just the way I am and is holding her hand out to me encouraging me everyday and pulling me along.. Her name is SkinnyMe and I can't wait to see her.

just like any other website with a social aspect, you CAN meet people on MFP for relationships but be prepared for disappointment if the intent for your use of this site is to seek potential future spouse. Relationships on MFP are a bi-product of friendship developed after months and years of supporting each other in terms of fitness and leaning on each other in rough times.
