I want to eat this salmon but I don’t want the sauce. The sauce packet doesn’t have individual info on the package. It’s just written like this. Any tricks to how to figure this without the sauce? TIA!

Look for plain salmon in the database.

How do you prepare it? With the sauce or without? If you can just cook it without using the sauce at all I would just use a kitchen scale and weigh it and look for salmon in the database and track it that way in my diary.

This is a special salmon. Foppen. Smoked. Nutritionix has it as 55 calories per ounce as compared with USDA raw salmon at 40 cal/oz. Ditch the sauce. Looks good without it.

None of the ingredients listed for the sauce (everything other than the salmon itself, presumably) are particularly calorie-dense. I would assume the sauce accounts for the 4 g of carbs, so you're looking for a salmon entry with about 104 cals, 11 g of protein, and 6 g of fat for 56 g, which describes this USDA entry to a T. I'd copy this text string and search for the matching MFP database entry:

    Fish, salmon, chinook, raw
