Losing weight does take effort, but it doesn't have to feel like some sort of punishment, iโ€™m new in this and I need some advice on how to start my fitness journey

    Find something you really enjoy, if possible. Start doing that consistently. Once that has become a bit habitual, add another component. Work toward integrating both cardio and strength training plus something that involves stretching.

    As with the food part of the equaton, chip away at it. You'll need to establish a routine that will keep you fit and active for life ... a marathon, not a sprint.
