Too Much Sugar?

I just started my diet a few days ago. I made an entry for the 8th, 10th and 11th of this month. My problem is I seem to get over way more sugar than suggested for me. Sometimes I seem to push the carbs a bit too. The Saturday entry of the 10th is a work day for me and that is basically what it looks like when I work. I try to eat a lot before work because I don't get a chance to eat again for about 5 hours and only enough time to grab some quick stuff. Is there any suggestion or is my sugar intake fine? Anything I should add or take out? I am on a low budget so I am trying to be cheap and healthy as possible.

I think an unofficial rule on here is that if you don't have any illnesses that may need you to limit sugar, then don't. It won't affect your weight loss at all. I do question your logging though. Are you accurately logging and weighing everything you eat? Netting under 1000 calories is extremely low.
  • Yeah my logging is pretty accurate. I have noticed I don't seem to be able to get over 1,000 except for Sunday. Do you have any healthy suggestions to add to my diet to up my calories a bit? That is one thing that has scared me is I'm not getting enough. As you noticed on Saturday I missed it by quite a bit thanks to my job. It's rough trying to eat healthy at work. I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Have you thought about taking a sandwich to work? Something like that higher in cals and quick to eat.

Dude...you are eating like a sedentary 90 year old 4 foot nothin' woman. Eat some dang food....

Get your healthy fats....nuts, nut butters, avocados, cook with some olive oil, etc. That will help up your calories in a hurry. Also, eat something besides chicken breasts or eat more chicken that a mere 4 oz. (BTW, are you actually weighing that? Most chicken breasts are in the neighborhood of 8 ounces, so unless you're cutting it in half, you're likely getting more than you think).
  • Yeah I believe the chicken is probably off in it's accuracy. Would adding a can of tuna or the tuna lunch to go help with my lunch?
