Saxenda

Hi everyone, and Happy New year🎉I started Saxenda a week ago, I am on 0.6 I don’t have any appetite to eat anything. I have to make myself to eat. I lost 1.4. I have diarrhea since yesterday and feeling tired. Not any other side effects. Just wanted to see anyone knows Is it ok if i stay on 0.6 and not to increase my dose.
Because I’ve already feel so full. And when is the best time of the day to inject the medication?
Good luck to all👍👍

Thank you for your concern, yes it is prescription from my doctor. Just when people use something they have more experience than doctors who just prescribe it.

True, but every person is different. We're not intentionally being unhelpful. It wouldn't be safe or ethical for us to answer questions about your prescription medications. We know nothing about your medical background. We don't know what other medications you may or may not take. We don't know if you have medical issues that might affect how Saxenda would interact. We are not doctors. Well, some might be but most are not. Questions about medication and specific medical issues really should be asked of your physician.

Then yes your doctor should be the one advising you regarding the side effects you are suffering from. Hope you get it sorted out. :)

While waiting to see your doctor, you could also speak to the pharmacist who filled the prescription. Internet strangers may be well-meaning, but we don't know your medical history, and there are a lot of factors that are involved in any decisions with regards to medications. It is always best to speak with medically trained persons who know you and your history. Even health professionals who post here would say it is unethical to give medical advice under these circumstances.

Thanks for all the response, I found out Saxenda has a hotline with a nurse answering your questions.

Hi, I am a newbie here (myfitnesspal) and wondering how you are doing on your Saxenda?

You may add me as friend if you would like to chat that way. I am on Saxenda as well.

Check with your doc about dosing instructions. My doc was going to put me on it, but, I really don’t want a daily injection so I opted for Belviq. I haven’t started the pills yet since I just got them yesterday, but I plan to start them early next week. I wanted to try to get the hang of my new diet first.

I just started Saxenda 4 days ago. I’m still on the .6 dose. No side effects other than feeling tired. I inject mine in the morning but I’ve heard a lot of people do it before bed so they sleep thro any side effects. Good luck on your journey. ❤️
