Do I have to eat after exercising?

Hi everyone,
So I usually go to the gym at night, around 8-9pm, and I do either aerobics or strength training. I was wondering if it’s ok to go to sleep without eating, considering that I eat before I go, is it a must to eat after training?
Thanks.

No, it is not a must.3

As long as you're getting adequate nutrition and calories throughout the day, and don't feel ravenous after working out, and hunger doesn't disrupt your sleep, you're fine.3

No it's not a must at all (whatever time of day or night you exercise), you have plenty of fuel onboard already and a standard duration workout isn't going to much of a dent in those reserves at all.

No. It's a shame, though.2

Only if you're hungry. I typically eat dinner or lunch after, but I also workout generally before those meals.1
