Entering steps manually

I have been using mfp since a month now. I have samsung gear watch to track steps and other things. Initially i put both of them on auto sync. But sometimes MFP weirdly put samsung calorie adjustment for 100 to 200 times. This shoots up my clorie balance to sometime 20000. I noticed that this particularly happens if my watch is not connected to my phone. Ideally, it should sync and adjust its calories whenever my watch is connected based on date. I turned of auto sync today. But us there a way to enter steps manually?

You could keep the auto-syc turned off and just add as walking and manually adjust the calories to a sensible amount or you could adjust your Activity Level to account for the average amount of steps you do. That will give you a slightly larger base calorie goal.
Approx numbers (varies by devices):
Sedentary (BMR X 1.25) 3500+
Lightly Active (BMR X 1.4) 6000+
Active (BMR X 1.6) 10000+
Very Active (BMR X 1.8) 13000+
