Help ! New to fitness

So I started working out 3 months ago. I do have some muscle/fat on the outer of my tights ( which I have no problem with ) my question, how do I avoid loosing that muscle/fat on my outer tight really love how it makes me look but don’t know what excersises to do to grow my muscle please help.

The best overall leg work out is the squat. Using a barbell, deep squats with a free bar (no machines) are the best exercise for overall leg work. I would say that even body weight air squats are helpful. When you do a squat you should bend down as far as you can so your butt is almost hitting the back of the calf, most people only go half way down and loose all the range of motion that the exercise is intended for.1

If you're in a calorie deficit then you are not going to be able to control where fat comes off. As far as muscle goes, follow a good resistance program and get adequate protein to preserve muscle mass while you lose.
