I try to meal prep for the week. I usually use minute rice as it comes in portions already and i can easily count the calories.
with sweet potato, i can make it for the week and weigh.
so just based on nutrition, which is the better option for lunch?

Depends on your nutrition needs. And factor in satiety, too.

Alternate. That way you get the trace from both options.0

Without knowing the overall context of your entire diet, it is entirely impossible to know.

no diet. Just counting calories.0 -
There's no way to answer this without knowing what else you're eating. Foods don't exist in isolation, the "best" choice for a day is going to depend on the other things you're eating.0

Diet meaning the food you put in your mouth.
I'm curious. You are wearing a mortarboard in your profile pic. What's your degree in?2 -

I think what she's saying is that it's impossible to tell without knowing the nutritional profile of your diet (noun) overall.
In a vacuum, a sweat potato is going to have a higher concentration of vitamins and minerals and other nutrition, which may or may not be a moot point depending on your overall nutritional profile.0 -
