Sometimes my children (ages 6 and 4) get a little rambunctious at bed time. Here's what I do: after a few warnings I start taking things away. First it's their pillows. Then their blankets. And lastly I take their mattresses. Right now my 4 year old is sleeping on the floor using a pile of clothes as his pillow.

Yep that is pretty mean! jk I'm so glad my kids (23 months and 5 months) go to bed well. Let's see how long it will last!

    ...But how will they sleep?

luls, I dunno. Taking privelages was a good motivator for me as a kid. Guess a bed is a good motivator, too.

Well my meanness caught up to me and I gave him the stuff back after he fell asleep. He's a hard headed little turd. No idea where he gets it... lol

Lol, could just be training how to sleep in a tent in the woods. I think you're doing it the right way instead of ignoring him or letting him get his way.
