I had a challenge yesterday. I knew I would be attending a gathering in which a supper would be served.(yum!😋) I ate very lightly during the day so I would have calories left for the meal. Only took a small portion of everything, larger portion of salad, and no going back for seconds.( I did splurge a little on drink and dessert . I WAS special occasion!) I was able to bring leftover salad and chicken breast home in a to-go box. Now I'm enjoying that as my brunch today. -- Well back to a regular routine.
