Please add me to your friends list. I need help staying positive. I’m trying to cut sweets and starting with a trainer this week to get more active.

What’s your plan of attack?

    hi! I need help staying positive too! I've done MFP in the past and had some success but I always go back to my old ways of eating and gain my weight back plus! I am at my heaviest weight ever and I can't stand it. I think push has come to shove. I have a physical the beginning of February and if my blood sugar hasn't gone down, I'm afraid my MD will put me on insulin because the last time I was there a few months ago he told me I was pre-diabetic and he sort of waved the possibility of meds in front of my face. So this is day 2 of my latest attempt and so far so good. I'm trying to do low carb, no bread, no obvious sugar, cutting out whites! bread, sugar, rice, pasta. tuesday I'm planning on starting a senior stretch class at the local community center. I've got to get moving! hope to hear from you and good luck!

    Morning. I’ve used fitness pal before and seen losses but never sticking it out long enough to reach my goal. I feel so excited and motivated with this new year. So I’m aiming to cut out heavy carbs. Whilst still keeping my vegetables and beans in my diet though. Also eliminating sugars fizzy drinks ect from my diet. And having a detox from alcohol too. Normally do this all by myself but think with support and encouragement from others on the same journey will keep me going
