Meals to make when only one of you is vegetarian?

Good morning my fabulous loves!!!
Over the past few months I've been eating more and more vegetarian meals. I'm definitely not 100% meat free by any means, but I just find myself less and less interested in eating it. When I cook for just myself (breakfast,.lunch, and two dinners a week) I pretty much always eat meat free meals, but 5 nights a week I make inner for me and my SO - and he is a man that like to eat meat. I'm hoping for suggestions of meals that could easily be served both meat free and meaty ( without making two separate meals or a ton of extra dishes) Thoughts?
Thanks all!!!

Why not just prepare a side of steak or chicken or whatever to add to the vegetarian meal? Things that you can just sear will be quick, if you are baking your main dish, find meats that can be baked at the same temperature. You could even cook five servings of meat at once to use with all five shared dinners. If you are doing casserole or saucy things, you could brown up some ground beef or turkey to serve with it, it doesn't have to be fancy.
Many of us do something similar with families that need more carbs than we do. My husband's dinner tonight will be leftover italian casserole with a side of pasta, because there isn't any pasta in the casserole.1 -
Just use reusable roasting bags to cook his meat in.0

I just make a meat dish for my husband, a veg main for me and we come together on sides, salads, etc. It's just the two of us and we're both pretty okay with leftovers for the rest of the week, so it works. We have an agreement where he checks my cookbooks and tells me what he'd like me to make. I generally make it unless it looks too labor-intensive or, say, serves 10-12 and doesn't freeze well. It's been going well for the last 16+ years.1

Hmm, I have lots of new cookbooks that I'm under-using. Great idea to have your husband look at recipes!0 -
Does every dinner have to have meat according to your husband? My husband and I aren't vegetarians but it is not uncommon for us to have a week in which all of our planned dinners are meat free. This usually means making dishes with dairy and beans/rice/lentils.0
