I’ve been in nursing school for the past two years, and I’m in the transition period between school and finding work and passing my boards. I gained 50 pounds in 2 years. I struggled constantly with being consistent not with just my workouts but my eating habits. I’m currently 231 pounds. My first goal will be to get back to 200. After I accomplish that i plan to try and get down to 180. Here have been other obstacles to getting back into a good workout and nutrition routine. I currently have plantar fasciitis with heel spurs in both heels. The extra weight hasn’t helped. I can no longer run because it’s too painful and high impact. so I’ve started using the elliptical instead. However, I’m tired of my own excuses. Where there’s a will theres a way. I’m not going to Yo-Yo with my weight anymore. I resolve to change, to be better, make better choices and live my best life!
