Achilles injury

I've damaged my Achilles tendon - not snapped it, just damaged. I've been exercising 5/6 days a week (running 3/4 plus zumba and a strengthening work out). I really don't want to lose my fitness levels as I've been working so hard to get to my current level.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives I can do. My initial thoughts were upper body and stomach work which I can do at home.

Awww man, I'm gutted as I love running and was training for my first 10k!!!

I have no idea how long my ankle will be out of action for. I'm about to visit A&E to get some medical attention, but I have had this type of injury previously and the pain is the same. It could be at least 4-6 weeks. I get married in 14 weeks so I'm hoping I can be back on track by then.

Any advice is welcome!
