Ok, so ive been doing great logging with my fitness pal but a little confused as to why there is fat contained in plain steamed broccoli with no seasoning ugh.

The food in the database is entered by users. They probably added some butter. There are probably 100,000 broccoli entries that are "wrong." But they were right for someone.

If you want plain broccoli, try searching for Broccoli, raw, usda. Then if it seems correct, add it to your food and then that entry will be in your "Recent" food list so you can keep using that entry instead of searching every time.

100 grams of broccoli has about .5 grams of fat. If you're seeing anything more than that, you've probably got a faulty entry.
