Restaurants Calorie Info

Wish more restaurants referenced menu items with calorie information.
Using and preplaning menu items is an advantage that I started doing but finding some do not have this information. ( Especially smaller non-corporate establishments.)
Whats your thoughts??

Find the item in the database that most closely matches what you ate, and pick a relatively high calorie entry for it to account for the fact that restaurants tend to use more oil/butter than you would at home. Be honest about what and how much you think you ate. After you have been weighing your food for a while, it will be easier to guess how large a restaurant portion was.0
