Off and on MFP for the last two years, I feel better when I’m on it as it keeps me honest even if I’m misbehaving!

Same here. When I’m not on here it’s hard to stay on track and stay focused

Congratulations on getting back on track! I think this is the best way to be really honest about what passes through your lips.

Is your misbehaving as bad as you think it is? When I was on/off here like a yoyo it's because I didn't really properly understand how weight loss worked, I thought I had to "eat clean", etc, etc. Once I realised that I could eat all of the things I like, but in moderation, I've been logging for over 2 years.

I've stopped punishing myself if I have a day when I am over, because even if you're a couple of thousand calories over one day, that's at worst half a pound you're setting yourself back, not the huge failure I used to think it was because I didn't understand water weight fluctuations.
