Tone up

Hey! I’m looking to tone my stomach up, get rid of my love handles and make my bum rounder.

Best exercises? Any particular foods/drinks/cuts outs to help?

    Calories are the answer. The best exercise is whichever one you'll do on a regular basis. The best foods are the ones you enjoy that hit your macros and keep you within your calorie goal.

    Agreed.

    Toning up simply refers to low enough body fat and high enough muscle mass. The exact balance of those 2 varies person to person depending on the look they want.

    Manage calories and do some cardio (if you want) to lose the weight/fat.
    Strength train to retain the muscle.
    Be patient. Really, really patient.

    You can’t spot reduce fat, but you can control muscle growth. If you’re comfortable with your bf% then eat at maintenance or a small surplus (150-250 calories) and follow a resistance training program that suits your goals. There are no foods that will directly inhibit or help with your goals, just like with losing weight you can eat what you want so long as it remains in line with your calorie goals.
