How can I lose weight when I just reached a plateau?

Hi everyone,

I gained a lot of weight when I was in college as I was stressed, had bad sleep and bad food habits. I am currently about 132lbs and trying to go down to 120lbs, which was my weight in high school.

I have been around 132lbs for a while now ( after having lost approximately 10% of my body weight) and it's bugging me! I continue to try and eat healthy, and I dance as exercise.

Any recommendation how I can get through this plateau? How long can it take to get through a plateau?

I hope you all come closer to your weight goals this new year :)

First to get it out of the way, how are you tracking? Are you weighing everything, making sure the entries you're picking are sound?

Second, how long have you gone and not lost anything? Usually anything under 4 weeks isn't really considered a plateau. One thing you do have to consider though is that 12lbs will come off slowly and losses can be easily masked by fluctuations. On top of that, you have to be super precise with your logging.
