Less sugar equals less sleep???

As I have pretty much eradicated simple, refined sugar from my life, I have noticed I need much less sleep. Like 6 hours gives me as much as 10...anyone else experience this?

Relates: did you find you got injured more with less sleep when training for endurance events?
