Protein bars

I like the Nature Valley Protein ones. I've tried some of the Quest bars recently and thought they were awful.0

Pure Protein - chocolate deluxe! Fiber One also makes Protein One bars, they're not bad (but I like Pure Protein better)0

I might be an outsider but I hate quest bars. Taste like protein brick to me. This is my opinion alone though, you can try it for yourself! Power crunch(vanilla bean and cookies and cream) and fit crunch I think is pretty decent.0

I also like the One bars and haven't found anything better than them in terms of nutrition or taste.0

No - I've found them to be very hit-or-miss, even with the same flavor. I can microwave the chocolate brownie ones and enjoy them, but I enjoy Eat Me Guilt Free Brownies more0 -
Check out Robert Irvine's Fitcrunch bars (16 protein, 14 carb, 3 sugar, 190 calories). They taste GREAT and aren't loaded with sugar. My doctor recommended them.1

My two favorite flavors of Pure Protein! Chocolate deluxe gives me best bang for my calories at 21g/180cal. Chocolate peanut butter tastes like a candy bar.0 -
I like the Pure Protein bars too but they seem to be smaller in length to me than other bars..
They just recently came out with a 30g protein shake for 140 calories a pop, if that's an option.
Powerbar Protein Plus bars are good too.0 -
Garden of Life Weight Loss bars have been my go-to.

I sometimes have Pegan bars but they are expensive. No Cow (sometimes), Bhu Fit Vegan, Sun Warrior bars and Bullet Proof bars also are on my "approved treat" list.
For years I ate Quest bars, way before anyone ever even heard of them. I stopped when they changed their formula to soluble corn fiber. I also stay away from whey/ dairy. I miss them though because they were my favorite, every once in a while I have one.0 -
Built bars. 110 calories, 15 grams of protein. The raspberry and orange flavors are my favorite flavors.1

I'm in Europe and ordered Amfit Nutrition bars on Amazon. 1 bar= 192 calories, 20g protein, 1g sugar. Just had a chocolate caramel--very good, also liked the cookies and cream.0

I ❤️ Berry Rx Bars
I love the no B.S. junk in them0 -
You are better off eating the package that the one bar comes in. They may taste good and hold you over okay but they contain some ingredients that you really ought to save for the garbage bin. Is 20 grams of protein worth having to eat palm kernel oil, artificial sweeteners, Carnuba wax (they use this on surf boards!), and laxative-like sugar alcohols? These are all very bad for your body.
Natural "trail mix" with either raisins or dried sweetened cranberries is a far better choice and much healthier.9 -

To compare two entirely different uses of a multipurpose substance for shock value is just ridiculous. None of those things in the amount that's present in protein bars are dangerous.
By the way, its *carnauba, and it's also used to coat nuts, coffee beans and candies. Oh, and the almonds in your trail mix have cyanide. Happy eating!7 -
Outright bars are by far the best tasting bars on the market. Made with like 7 all natural ingredients, no bs fibers or glycerin.

Another vote for Pure Protein (found at Walmart) - my favorite flavor is Chocolate Peanut Caramel.0

Personally I love larabars, especially the flavors with chocolate and blueberry muffin. They only have around 5 grams of protein though, and that's pretty low if you are looking for a protein boost.
