Traps take so long to build ....

The right way seems to burn them through high reps. I hope to a change by Spring time.

Just like any muscle, add enough useful stimulas at the right volume and it's takes no longer than any other muscle.

Try myo reps if you want more of a burn out style or consider more deadlifting.

Yeah, I've never really had problems building my traps.

Olympic lifters have respectable traps from the lifts they perform. Ditto for the deadlift suggestion.

In my experience, heavy loads will give you a bigger bang for your training buck than mindless reps with a lower weight.

    Your mileage may vary.

My traps look like a baby cobra and I don't do anything to train them specifically.

Having a car drive into my knee and spending 3 months on crutches worked wonders for me - I got nicknamed "Coke Bottle Shoulders" when I eventually returned to work.
Cost me a fortune in new shirts.

Not sure I'd recommend that one to people, though. :#

Four sets of 12 with 15 kgs and then four sets of 12 with 20 kgs. My traps feel worked 🙂

Try some farmer carries with 50% or more of bodyweight in each hand. Walk as far as you can, rest and repeat several times as a finisher.
