Greetings, love MFP...

I started what I've been affectionately calling my "Boot Camp" on Jan 7th. As I started to make all the changes I mapped out, I was intimidated by how much I didn't know about nutrition and meal planning and meal prepping and calorie counting, etc...

My brother suggested this app a week or two ago, and when I learned Endomondo works with my Heart Rate Monitor and phone, I was 100% sold on using both these apps.

I'm sorta on this journey alone. Don't really need or want much from others. Today is my 3rd day using MFP. I already found a great recipe for a ground turkey slow-cooker lentil chili, and it only took me like 5 minutes.

I'm friendly and all that, and I've tried to do this before (but not in 10 years) and never stuck past 6 months. I'm shocked by how responsive my body has been so far, and my family has been enormously supportive; well most of them anyway.

But hey, I'd always appreciate some new friends who are really trying to go through one of these transformations, or who are further along and might have tips and knowledge to share.
