Question about Calorie Goals

Confused about calorie goals. So my calorie goal according to mfp is 2090. Does that mean I need to eat 2090 calories a day or do less than that to lose weight?

    If you have set your Goal to lose weight, then yes eat 2090. If you exercise, add that into the Exercise tab and eat a bit more.

    Your deficit is already calculated (at the 2090)

    Thanks everyone!!!! I was so confused on this calorie goal. You have helped me well.
    I've been eating 1500 calories because I was thinking I had to eat under my calorie goal.
