Nothing gets your metabolism going like a healthy breakfast you have to pick up off the floor!

DANGIT!!! Are those blueberries?!?0

I swear those containers are designed to spring open and disperse berries as efficiently as possible.18

Lol 5 second rule!6

Do some squats while picking them up. Bonus!19

Whew, glad this isn't a mushroom-chocolate-greens-keto-coffee thread!16

Bummer! I feel you. I lose food on the floor constantly, but it's because I'm such a klutzy person. XDkshama2001 wrote: »Whew, glad this isn't a mushroom-chocolate-greens-keto-coffee thread!
LOL. I was hesitant to click because I've read through so many coffee threads, I wasn't quite sure what I was going to discover. (well, not really as @concordancia is a seasoned veteran of the forums - so I wasn't too concerned)

Eh, your floor looks pretty clean to me! You may find blueberry-raisins the next time you move the fridge though6

This is when you wake the cat out of a deep sleep and set it loose in the kitchen, (More efficient than a Roomba.) and are glad you weren’t having an omelette.
Cheers, h.2 -
One time I dropped a jar of mayonnaise on my kitchen floor and it exploded everywhere. I definitely burned more calories cleaning it off the floor, walls, and appliances than I would have consumed with the chicken salad I was trying to make.2

That's when I call in the dogs and go back to bed!5

My son once exploded bottle of root beer in the kitchen. I think there will still be sticky spots when we eventually gut it for renovation4 -

Yes! I have discovered the perfect yogurt to walnut to berry ratio, but it usually doesn't involve cleaning the floor before breakfast.8 -
I wish I could find the thread...
I frequent a cooking forum as well. A number a years ago a poster told a story about making home made ghost pepper hot sauce. They put hot(temperature) ghost pepper sauce in a blender and turned it on without holding the lid. Some folks can guess what happened - it blew the lid and "painted" the kitchen with GHOST PEPPER sauce. The poster said it was like a chemical warfare zone - they couldn't breathe - but of course had to clean it up. It was one of the most hilarious kitchen comedies I have ever read about.13 -
I was once making a flan which included heating sugar into a caramel sauce. Being young, and very dumb, I thought I could heat a glass pyrex dish on the burner. It didn't take long for the pyrex dish to explode. I had hot, sticky caramel sauce all over the kitchen, floor and ceiling. Dang that was a mess. Not sure how I managed to not get hurt.3

I dropped a hard boiled egg the other day and just started crying.7

That was my reaction when my husband bumped into my wine rack and THREE bottles crashed to the floor.9 -
I love how this thread has become “What’s the worst thing you ever dropped on the floor”8

Me too! So far I think ghost pepper is worst, but being a second-hand story, my vote is for Pyrex caramel sauce.3 -
The worst thing I ever dropped on the floor was the Christmas turkey.
Perfectly stuffed and cooked.
With 20 people in the dining room waiting for it.15 -

"However long it takes to pick up and dust off a hot turkey" rule?8
