Weekly weight loss goal question

I have about 60-70 pounds to lose over the next year, year and half. I am wondering what should I put as my weekly weight loss goal. Thanks for any input. :)

    1-1.5lb per week

    Just remember that it took a while to gain the weight so it will take twice a s long to lose it. Especially as we age.

    Sustained weight loss should be a target of no more than 1.5 lbs per week max. Anything more you are likely to gain it all back.

    It will probably take a while for you to find your comfort zone in terms of calorie intake and that's normal.

    Losing weight is a lifestyle change, not a diet. Healthy eating habits and regular exercise are both required for sustained weight loss.

    I'd wish you luck, but luck has nothing to do with weight loss !

    Thank you. I have it set to 1 pound a week now. I did have it set to 1.5 pounds per week but I'm currently only losing about half a pound a week. I realize it's not going to come off overnight. I just wanted to make sure that I had my settings done right for the amount of weight I need to lose.
