Sprinting question

I hate running! I have tried C25k and never got the the point where I felt I could do it all the time. I do like sprinting though. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on a sprinting program. My hubby thinks it would be the perfect workout for me. I'm just not sure exactly how much and how often I should do it.

Do it as HIIT 2-3 times a week. Sprint all out for 30 seconds then do active rest for 30 for 20-25 minutes, that should be a workout. You could gradually increase the time of the sprint and decrease the time of the rest as well.

Or you could do a Tabata (again 2-3 times a week) where you go ALL OUT GONNA DIE for 20 seconds, rest for 10 for 4 minutes.

Thanks!! I am hoping I can build up my endurance. I am going to start this workout next week so I want to plan it out.
