Baked sweet potatoes in the crockpot

Does anyone make baked sweet potatoes in their crockpot?
Do you wrap in foil? Crockpot liner? Any issues with the sugar burning in your crockpot?

Scrub the potatoes, pierce with a fork, and wrap in foil. I've never had issues with stuck on anything.
