How to disconnect Fitbit

Hi there,
I have a Fitbit that I used to sync to MyFitnessPal for steps and exercise calories. I still wear it, but I no longer want it synced to MyFitnessPal. I have gone in to the app, clicked on devices, then clicked disconnect. It works. But then occasionally it reconnects automatically with MyFitnessPal. I don’t want the exercise calories from it, so I have to go in and manually delete the steps calories from my Fitbit. Has anyone else had this issue with it automatically reconnecting? If so, do you know how to keep it from doing so?

Never mind. I think I got it figured out directly through the Fitbit website.1
