I had been healthy and athletic my whole school days but after school I wasn't in dance or swimming or weight training any more and I wasn't sure what to do with my self so I gained weight and stayed at a steady weight of 170 lbs and I had even started to lose weight. Then I got pregnant and lost the pregnancy I was depressed and ate lots of comfort food, than I got pregnant again and in my last month of pregnancy my grandfather died. When I had my baby I had postpartum and gained a massive amount of weight in just 6 months. Before I knew it I was obese at a whopping 215 lbs, but still it took my insurance company telling me I was obese to make me realize that I really was that if wasn't just having a baby. So I started to lose weight on the special k diet I lost 15 lbs but gained back 5 lbs when my brother tried to kill himself. When I was ready I started this account after tying special k diet, I didn't like how much lean muscle mass I lost with that program so I wanted to try something different something where I could eat real food. I thought this site would only be good for counting calories boy was I wrong.
It has been so much more than that for me I have found good supportive friends that I could go to about health and weight loss problems. I learned a lot about nutrition, healthy recipes, and workout programs that work, I even joined a few 30ds groups.
So now it is one year later and I have lost 54 lbs I still have 10 lbs to lose to hit my goal but I know I will get there and stay healthy with every thing I learned.
here are some pictures for you.
