Don't get me wrong, I am not starting a thread to complain. I am starting one because I am simply amazed. I give myself one or two cheat days a month. Yesterday was the first one for this month and I stepped on the scale this morning and was simply amazed.

Saturday morning: 176.4
Monday morning: 186.8

This has to be some kind of record right? I'm not even mad about this, I am simply amazed my body was able to even accomplish this. I am used to maybe a 5 pound fluctuation from cheat day and I know it will come off easily....but damn. We should just start sending Lenny's buffalo chicken subs and beer over to 3rd world countries if it produces this kind amazing results. Anyone else seen this kind of fluctuation before?

That's a huge difference. Are the batteries new in your scale? Mine gives weird results when the batteries are low.

    Other than that...water retention?

 nah. no record. As a woman, the time of the month can really make the weight fluctuate all kinds of screwy.

I seriously thought the scale was on its way out so I stepped on at the gym......nope...home scale is working just fine.

    Impressive yes?

Yes, I've "gained" 7 pounds overnight. Salt and booze are the most likely culprits. Drink LOTS of water, and you should see a drastic drop in a day or two.

Ouch......yeah, I can admit it takes little to impress/amuse me.
