When should I shrink my deficit?

I'm currently set for -500 cal deficit for 1lb a week. I've lost 39lbs so far and I have about 15lbs to go. Should I shrink my deficit to -250, or wait until I get to 10lbs left?

    I, personally, would do it now. It helps you coast into maintenance easier.

    There's a lot of personal preference here. At some point, you have to balance ideals with your own sanity and preferences.
