Avocado egg hack

So I've tried this thing... cracking an egg into an avocado. It's not bad. But really messy and can be a pain to do. I live in the Midwest, avocados here sadly are a dollar each! Needless to say I have been annoyed at this price. Until I noticed a pound tub of fresh guac at the deli counter! They use avocado, cilantro, diced onion and tomato. Dash of lime juice and salt. Sold! So I loaded up my food freezer ice cube trays (1oz each, so nice!) Yes, it comes out fine, not mushy...especially for this hack... step one: get a toaster oven! I use my toaster oven/air fryer every day, saves money to not use giant oven for just this. Anyway, step two: make a small aluminium foil basket, shiny side on the inside, dull side down. Step three: spray tiny bit of oil, or not, I've done it both ways and it only helps a bit to in stock egg. Step four: take 1-2tbsp of guac, if frozen, thaw for just a bit, enough to slush it. Make a small volcano shape. (Season now...I prefer to season under the egg. ) Step five: crack egg into center of volcano. Don't worry if whites go out a bit, that will actually help the guac stay congealed to the egg. Step six: place in center of toaster oven (I've used both 350 on air fry and toast function to dark) both work out fine. Toast gets the bottom done faster for me. Keep an eye on it the first couple times. The first one I made the whites weren't done enough for me. I have been using a protein bread to slide this onto when done. However, it's just as good scooping out of aluminum foil into small bowl.
Sucks that avocados here are so pricey, but it opened a new avenue for me to have a food adventure and find a cheap alternative.

This sounds good but also time consuming. I might consider making it in mini muffin tins and making a batch of them at once. Then, I could just reheat them quickly when I want them.
