I am 5,2 and 140 pounds right now. Although I am trying to loose weight and I know I can loose actual weight but the amount of cellulite I have everywhere is just too much. I know people get it but I have it literally all over my legs, but, areas on upper arms...I tried sooooo many things...home remedies you name it....in May of 2018 I spent over 5k on this cellulite reduction sessions which were pretty painful and literally zero result!! the lady that did them on me said that she has never seen a 35 year old with so much cellulite and so much laxity in skin. I dont have anyone like this in my family so its not hereditary....it is making me so upset and my desire to loose any weight goes down the drain because I still look pretty bad.
I would appreciate some motivation from anyone who had similar problem and actually had success getting rid of cellulite. thanks a lot

I took anatomy and physiology for two years and never ran across the term "cellulite". It's not really a thing. It is just fat that pushes through connective tissue above it, causing a dimply appearance. Like any other fat, you can not spot reduce it from any local area of the body. Nor will massages and lotions remove it. Only through a caloric deficit, just like belly fat, or any other fat.0

thanks for your response!!!
i just dont understand why people with lot higher body fat percentage do not have nearly as much as I do...why their fat is not pushing through connective tissue above it?0 -

Sadly it's just how you are built.
I would say finish losing weight and then see where you are. And I can guarantee that it's not as bad as you think, we are our own worst critics. :flowerforyou:1 -

Do you swim? As everyone has said, you just didn't win the lottery genetically, but here, in Italy, swimming is recommended. You could try it. It's a long slow process, but if you're losing weight too, it's worth a shot. Be aware that as you lose, fatty areas can look worse. There are threads in the past on "squishy" fat. It's normal-water takes up the fat space for awhile. Don't give up, but don't spend a lot of money on this problem. Check back in in a couple of months and tell us how you're doing. Luck.0

cellulite = the stuff you make paper with. We shouldn't eat trees, you know?2
